Work experience is a great opportunity to gain insight into the workplace and a chance to improve your skills by boosting your confidence and motivation.


If you choose to have your work experience placement at Sutton Libraries, Heritage and Arts service it will give you the opportunity to discover what it is like to work in both libraries & heritage venues. You will be able to experience a variety of roles from shelving, sorting book stock, front of house roles such as welcoming the public to seeing behind the scenes how events are developed and marketed on social media, the role volunteers play in the service and supporting Heritage events. It will help you gain valuable experience for your CV.


The placement will be for 5 days and will take place at Sutton Libraries, Heritage and Arts service.
