The Library @ The Life Centre is a new library within the Sutton Life Centre. The Library is fully accessible via a ramp from street level and has automatic doors. All library services are on the ground floor.

The Library @ The Life Centre provides:

  • ground floor access to all library facilities
  • photocopier facilities
  • children's rhymetime
  • free internet and WiFi access
  • adult and children's books
  • talking books
  • Life Centre Reading Group (every third Tuesday 2 - 3pm, contact for more information)
  • Life Centre Job Club 


What’s on and when?


Mondays & Fridays (term time) 10am-12pm

Toddler's Playtime

A friendly session with books and toys beside the Sutton Life Centre Cafe.


Third Tuesday of each month, 2pm-3pm

Spellbound Reading Group  

A monthly reading group. New members always welcome.

For adults.



Thursdays (term time), 10.30am-11am and 11am-11:30am

Rhyme Time

Songs and rhymes. Places are limited. Sign in at the Library desk on the morning of the event.

Suitable for children up to 3 years old.




Computer Skills for Beginners

A free 4 week introductory course in basic ICT skills.

Pop into any Sutton Library for further details or to book your place.
