Volunteering is fun, rewarding and it changes lives.
Come and experience it at your local library!
We are looking for people from all walks of life to help us deliver amazing projects at our libraries for the benefit of the whole community.
We have a number of volunteering opportunities at the moment.
Youth Advisory Board Volunteers 13-16 yrs
Redbridge Libraries are setting up a Youth Advisory Board encouraging young people to have a say in how libraries are run. You will be involved in stock selection and event planning and delivery. This is a great opportunity and will be valuable experience to add to your CV.
If you're aged between 13 and 16 and want to be involved then please email Mina Rehman at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our first Advisory Board meeting will be held at Redbridge Central Library on Tuesday 16 September at 4.30pm.
iPad Trainer Volunteers 14+ yrs
Do you love working with the public? Do you want to introduce and educate our customers in using an iPad? We are looking for sociable and IT literate individuals to help our customers make the most of tablet technology and help them to get online safely and confidently. We have been providing iPad workshops around the borough since January 2014 and demand has been steadily increasing so we would love to recruit a few volunteers to help us deliver these sessions.
