Kingston Libraries - Information, Learning and Leisure
There are seven library buildings in the borough plus the Community Library whose staff visit customers in their homes. Library buildings are situated in Hook and Chessington, Kingston, New Malden, Old Malden, Surbiton, Tolworth and Tudor Drive.
All libraries offer books, DVDs, CDs, spoken word CDs and some branches offer books in other languages.
We have a wide range of reference material, much of which is available online and if you are a library member you can access many of these resources from home. Full details are in our Online Resources page.
Reference collections include more detailed collections of older computer books and magazines at New Malden Library, Geneology books and magazines at Surbiton Library and transport and travel at Hook Library.
We also offer access to a range of E Audio and E Book collections for futher details visit E-Library.
All branches have wifi and computers with free access to word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and other office software as well as the internet. For details of computer access and training click on the Learning tab above.
We have reading groups for adults, children and crime readers.
There are a number of children's activities weekly and in school holidays
