Library volunteering opportunities

Current vacancies

All Libraries

We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to help us set up and run Coding Clubs, Discovery Clubs and Digital Maker’s Clubs for children and young people.

Bexley Local Studies and Archive Centre

There are occasionally opportunities to volunteer at Bexley Local Studies and Archive Centre. 
To express your interest, please email archives@bexley.gov.uk outlining why you want to volunteer and your availability.

Please complete a Volunteer Application Form (PDF)  and email it to libraries@bexley.gov.uk, hand in to any Bexley Library or post to:

We also offer volunteering opportunities for people taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.

Process for volunteers

Prospective volunteers will be required to attend a short, informal interview.
