Covid-19 – Reopening of libraries
All six of the Council-managed libraries have now re-opened and the Local Studies and Archives Centre is reopening on an appointment only basis, however, the first floor at Central Library remains closed at the current time.
Information about the services we are currently offering, the restrictions that are in place and amended opening hours can be found on the Covid-19 Updates page.
Our Community Managed Libraries are making their own plans for reopening – please visit their websites for updates.
Upper Belvedere Community Library is a friendly local library run by the Eco Communities with support from London Borough of Bexley. The library is in Woolwich Road next to the Pop-in-Parlour and Belvedere Recreation Ground. Bus number 99 stops nearby and number 401 stops in Belvedere a short walk away. There is a small car park at the front of the library.
Although managed by Eco Communities, the library is continuing to use the Council's library system, meaning that customers can continue to use their existing library cards to borrow, return, renew or request books and other items at the library.
