Summer Reading Challenge

 

Mischief Makers started on Saturday 14 July and ran all through the summer until Saturday 8 September 2018. 4466 children in Bexley joined the challenge and representatives of each library are pictured here at a special celebration with the Mayor of Bexley.

A big thank you to all our Summer Reading Challenge volunteers, who do a wonderful job of encouraging and inspiring children throughout the summer.

Their enthusiasm is an important contribution which adds to the children’s enjoyment of undertaking the challenge to read six books during their summer holidays.

Just a few of them are pictured here at a celebration event with the Mayor and Mayoress and storyteller Sally Pomme Clayton.
