Summer Reading Challenge 2019

The Summer Reading Challenge theme this year was Space Chase. It followed a space family on a very important mission to rescue books which have been disappearing from their library.

4301 children in Bexley joined the challenge which ended on Saturday 7th September 2019.

  • Create a profile and a reading wish list
  • Add their latest reads to their profile to unlock progress badges
  • Search for their next read using the Book Sorter

Space Chase Presentation

The Mayor Councillor Geraldine Lucia-Hennis and Deputy Mayor Councillor James Hunt pictured at a special ceremony at the Civic Centre with children who have received a Special Achievement award for their efforts in the Summer Reading Challenge 2019. They all had a great afternoon and were entertained by fantastic storyteller John Kirk.
