Covid-19 – Reopening of libraries

We are safely reopening our libraries following closures due to Covid-19.  

All Libraries have now reopened. The first floor at Central Library and the Local Studies and Archives Centre will remain closed for the time being.

Slade Green and Howbury Community Library is a friendly local library run by charity Eco Communities with support from London Borough of Bexley. Situated in the new Slade Green and Howbury Community Centre, close to bus stops and Slade Green Railway Station. There is customer car parking available.

The library has:

  • Books for adults, teens and children
  • Free wifi
  • PCs
  • Printer
  • Disabled Access
  • Meeting room for hire
  • Study desks
  • There is a café and toilet facilities in the community centre.
