Reading is important to all of us.
If you’re struggling to read because of your sight, the RNIB Library can help, whatever your tastes and reading preferences.
The Library is free to use and has over 60,000 titles to choose from in a variety of formats – digital, audio, braille and giant print – for both adults and children.
The RNIB Library also offers personalised support from their Reader Services Team, including help and advice for young readers, parents and teachers.
RNIB Talking Books
RNIB’s talking book service is provided in a number of different formats – CD, USB or via digital download.
With RNIB Talking Books, you can
- Borrow up to six books at a time
- Borrow as many books as you want over the year
- Get help with choosing books from the RNIB’s Reader Services team
RNIB’s Connect Radio
The RNIB Library also hosts a regular radio programme called “Read On Air” broadcast on RNIB’s Connect Radio which celebrates the joy of reading and includes book reviews, author interviews and library news.
You can listen to RNIB’s Connect Radio online or using Freeview Channel 730 on your TV.
