Fun Palaces at Central Library
Come along to our drop-in session for adults and children and take part in our local Fun Palace!
Learn a new skill or have a go at making a craft taught by local volunteers for free.

Join the Discovery Club!
Explore the world of science in your local library, with fun experiments and activities.
Get hands-on with science at Erith or Crayford Libraries and become a CREST Superstar on this 8-week course, part of the official British Science Association CREST Awards.
Track your progress with your own CREST Passport with special stickers. You also receive a certificate when you reach the end.
Starting on Monday 23rd September at Erith Library and
Wednesday 25th September at Crayford Library.
For children aged 7 to 11.
Discovery Club is Free to join but places are limited. To book your place or to find out more, contact staff at the relevant library.
Central Library’s Chatty Corner Group
A new group for people living with early stage dementia, their family, carers’ and friends has been set up at the Central Library in Bexleyheath.
This informal group meets over a cuppa for a friendly chat, puzzles and games. It’s a great opportunity to meet people too.
There’s no need to book – just come along on the 1st Friday of each month from 2pm – 3.30pm and join in.

Bexley Libraries hold a reading group for the visually impaired at Central Library, Bexleyheath at 10.30-12.00pm usually on the first Wednesday of each month.
