Reading Friends Groups
Get together with a good book, poem or newspaper article. You can meet new people, make friends, chat and have a laugh. Everyone is welcome. Why not give it a try?
There are now two Reading Friends groups which meet in Bexley Libraries:
- Erith Library - third Tuesday of the month at 2pm
- Crayford Library - last Tuesday of the month at 11am - starting on Tuesday 28 January 2020
There’s no need to book – just come along and join in.

Central Library’s Chatty Corner Group
A new group for people living with early stage dementia, their family, carers’ and friends has been set up at the Central Library in Bexleyheath.
This informal group meets over a cuppa for a friendly chat, puzzles and games. It’s a great opportunity to meet people too.
There’s no need to book – just come along on the 1st Friday of each month from 2pm – 3.30pm and join in.
Gardener's Coffee Club
Do you have an allotment or enjoy spending time pottering in your garden?
Would you like to meet fellow gardeners or learn about a new hobby?
Why not come along and join us for a tea or coffee and meet like-minded people!
There is no meeting in December, but meetings will resume as normal from January 2020.
Last Saturday of every month at 10:30 - 11.30am.
Come along to our brand new free DigiClub!
Develop your skills and interests in a wide range of digital making activities including 3D printing and robotics.
Central Library, Bexleyheath
First Thursday of every month,
Chaucer meeting room, 4.30 pm – 6.00 pm
For 10-16 year olds.
There will be no Digiclub in Janurary 2020 due to Christmas and New Year.
No booking required.
Reading groups for the visually impaired
Bexley Libraries hold a reading group for the visually impaired at Central Library, Bexleyheath at 10.30-12.00pm usually on the first Wednesday of each month.
