FREE Creative Writing Workshops

As part of the City of Stories project, Bexley Libraries will be holding two free creative writing workshops at the Central Library in Bexleyheath.

We are delighted to announce that both workshops will be led by Bidisha - writer, broadcaster and author of five books, most recently "Asylum and Exile: Hidden Voices".

The workshops will take place on

• Thursday 14 June - 2.30pm - 4.30pm
• Thursday 28 June - 2.30pm - 4.30pm

Teddy Bears Picnic

Come along to a teddy bears picnic at your local Bexley library and explore well-being through healthy eating and movement.

Share stories, food and fun…Teddies welcome…

Francesca and the children will create rhymes, songs and dances linked to the themes of exercise and healthy eating.

For ages 2 - 4 years.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

No need to book a place just drop in.

Online Safety Taster Session 

Come along to this FREE introduction taster session about online safety. The session will cover topics such as how to keep your personal information safe and how to avoid scammers on the internet. The course is online led therefore basic knowledge of how to use a mouse and keyboard computer is required.

Thamesmead Teenage Reading Group

This is a brand new reading group for ages 11 and over starting on 13th October.

This is a reading group for young people where you decide what novels to read. Discuss new authors, share book reviews, ideas for the group or even bring a favourite book to share with others who love reading, chatting, and having fun.
