Click and Collect
A click and collect service is available at Crayford Library and Central Library, Bexleyheath as follows:
Central Library – Monday to Friday 11am - 7pm and Saturday 9.30am-5pm
Crayford Library – Monday to Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm and Saturday 9.30am-3pm
During the week beginning 14 June, the hours of operation will be:
Central Library - Monday-Wednesday 9.30am-5.30pm, Thursday 9.30am-7pm and Saturday 9.30am-5pm
Crayford Library - Monday, Friday 9.30am-5.30pm, Wednesday 9.30am-7pm and Saturday 9.30am-5pm
Please note that this service will no longer operate after 19 June with libraries set to reopen during the week beginning 21 June.
Click and collect will only be available for stock which is on the shelf at either Central or Crayford Libraries and can only be picked up from the library where it is on the shelf.
At the present time, we are unable to fulfil requests for items that have been placed using our standard reservations system.
Collection slots must be booked in advance by completing the form at the bottom of this page or by phoning the branch hotline.

Please note that telephones will only be answered during click and collect hours. Click and collect emails can be submitted at any time, but will only be dealt with during click and collect hours.
You are able to provide details of the specific title(s) you would like or staff can select items in a lucky dip style based on your reading preferences. You are able to provide the details of multiple items on one form – there is no need to complete a separate form for each title.
Staff will contact you with a time slot for collection and provide a reference number to quote when collecting. You will also need to bring your library membership card or proof of name and address with you.
Only click and collect will be available and staff will be unable to offer any other library and council service.
Staff handling books to be passed on to customers will wear a face covering, use disposable gloves and cleaning sprays for infection control purposes. Upon collecting items, you will also need to wear a face covering unless medically exempt.
