Click and Collect
Our new click and collect service is available at Sidcup Library and Central Library, Bexleyheath on the following days:
Central Library – Tuesdays, 9.30am-5pm and Saturdays, 9.30am-4.30pm
Sidcup Library – Thursdays, 9.30am-5pm and Saturdays, 9.30am-4.30pm
Click and collect will only be available for stock which is on the shelf at either Central or Sidcup Libraries and can only be picked up from the library where it is on the shelf.
Collection slots must be booked in advance by completing the form at the bottom of this page or by phoning the branch hotline.

Please note that telephones will only be answered during click and collect hours. Click and collect emails can be submitted at any time, but will only be dealt with during click and collect hours.
You are able to provide details of the specific book(s) you would like or staff can select items in a lucky dip style based on your reading preferences. You are able to provide the details of multiple items on one form – there is no need to complete a separate form for each title.
Staff will contact you with a time slot for collection and provide a reference number to quote when collecting. You will also need to bring your library membership card or proof of name and address with you.
Only click and collect will be available and staff will be unable to offer any other library and council service. Staff will also be unable to accept returned items during this time.
Staff handling books to be passed on to customers will wear a face covering, use disposal gloves and cleaning sprays for infection control purposes. Upon collecting items, you will also need to wear a face covering unless medically exempt.
