Services and facilitiesPollards Hill Library offers DVDs, books, large print and talking books for hire; reference books; photocopier, fax and printing facilities; public computer terminals with free access to Office software and the Internet; hall hire; information service and leaflets; a reference section, newspapers and magazines; exhibition facilities; community noticeboards; car parking and a range of events including children’s activities. Volunteering OpportunitiesWe are looking for volunteers for a range of activities, including IT support, children’s activities, meeting and greeting and shelving books as well as a number of 'Volunteer Champion' roles. Pollards Hill Library RedevelopmentFrom October 2008 to August 2009 the library was redeveloped as part of the Big Lottery's 'Community Libraries' fund. After extension and refurbishment, the library reopened with three dedicated learning rooms, new computers and a large stock of new books and DVDs. We are currently in our third year of working towards the targets set out in the Pollards Hill Library Community Engagement plan. Find us on Facebook
