Children’s Book Club at Kingston Library
Family Chatterbooks is a monthly book club for children in the lower juniors (with a parent or carer) who are starting to read junior fiction and are keen to develop their reading ability. Club members are the first to see and borrow all the latest junior fiction books as well as a recommended book of the month. There are fun quizzes, games or craft based on the books each month, as well as help and advice about choosing books from the Children's Librarian. It's fun for kids and useful for parents who want to help their children to develop a love of reading. The sessions are informal and fun with lots of book-themed activities and a chance to chat with other families.
